Just as some tradenames become everyday words used to designate a certain type of commodity, the name BIPLEX is now synonymous with Test Equipment and Breakdown Sets.

This did not happen overnight.

In 1919, thirty six years after its birth, we gave our company the name it still bears today and went on to register the trademark, BIPLEX, four years later, in 1923.

Right from the start, paying particular attention to our own quality control, we began to explore an experimental avenue or research. Running parallel to our mainline activity of the time, it resulted in the conception, development and marketing of such devices as the faradmeter, the ohmeter an other apparatus for the testing of electronic components...

It was shortly after the Second World War that the Test Sector began to take on an increasingly important role.

For some years now, our company has held a leading position on the French industrial electrical test market. If an HV or high power generator bound for test platforms is of French design and fabrication, the it carries our name.

In addition to the standard models designed to perform one or two basic operations, we will make the studies for and construct test equipment on request.
